The Mae Yang-Pa Wong road is difficult to navigate and needs to be repaired.

The Mae Yang-Pa Wong road in Phan Min Township, Tachileik Township, is damaged and difficult to travel on, so locals want the relevant authorities to repair it, they told East Than Lwin Media.

The road from Mae Yang Junction to Mong Phon (A) Sut Saeng Village, through Pawon Village, used to be an asphalt road, but it has been damaged for about three years due to the heavy use of earthmoving trucks and trucks.

“That section of the road is under the responsibility of the Myanmar Eyramon Company. The company, which runs from Mae Yang Junction to Mong Phone Pasa, has paved the road using the BOD system and is collecting tolls. The most damaged section (4/5) is the one that is in a bad condition. The villagers are having a hard time getting around, so they want it repaired,” said a local.

Locals are currently finding it difficult to travel by motorbike due to the deterioration of the roads from Mae Yang Junction to Sut Saing Junction.

Locals say that when it rains, it becomes very difficult to travel, and it is even difficult for students to travel to school.

The company is responsible for the section of the road from Sutsang intersection to Mong Phone Sayadaw School, which is paved with asphalt, making it easy to travel on, and the damaged section is said to be about (5) miles long.

Before the construction of the Industrial Zone-Suktsang Road, in the 1990s, people had to travel to the Mong Phone Sayadaw Monastery from the Pa Wong Village side at the Mae Yang Road intersection.
