Motorists in Kyaungtong, eastern Shan State, have been advised not to park their vehicles in some areas of Kyaungtong from June 27 to July 1.
The areas where parking is prohibited are from Kyaungtong Airport Roundabout to Kyauktaing Roundabout, and from Kyaungtong University to Golf Course Roundabout.
Similarly, the Traffic Police Sub-Division No. (19) (Eastern Shan State) has issued a notice to not park on the left/right side of the road along the Taunggyi-Tachileik Road and to park on the right side of the road on one-way streets.
Failure to comply with the issued regulations will result in action under the Traffic Safety and Vehicle Management Law 2020.
The press release states that if the seized vehicles are not officially registered, action will be taken under the Import and Export Act (Unlicensed).
